Rachael is an experienced designer who has worked in the textile industry in Aotearoa and Germany.

She has tertiary qualifications in graphic and textile design and has worked in both these areas. Her passion is surface pattern design, and this is the area in which she has the most experience.

She draws her inspiration in nature, especially focusing on the local flora of Aotearoa and the Pacific Islands, where she has spent most of her life.
